STEFAN YANEV, Kaba gaida (Rhodope bagpipe)

Stefan Yanev from his early age contacts with bagpipers – legends, such as Stefan Zahmanov, Atanas Karaivanov and performers from the famous Bulgarian orchestra “One hundred Bulgarian bagpipes’.
He has won many prizes and distinctions in the national meetings in Koprivshtitsa, Rojen, Gela , St. Ilia’s field, St.Petar’s field , Haidouk’s glades.
He has presented the Beauty of Rhodope bagpipe in Rome, Paris, Naples, Sicily and Budapest.
Stefan Yanev has à partnership in creative work with the folk singer Zlatina Uzunova, the bagpipe player Petar Yanev who are soloists of National Folklore Ensemble “Rhodopes” – Smolyan such as with the world famous singer Valia Balkanska. |
